Terriers Suffer Third Defeat in a Row

Free-Kick which North Shields Took the Lead From

Bedlington Terriers suffered their third straight defeat after North Shields bagged three second-half goals to take all three points at Welfare Park.

After an opening half of very few chances, the game came to light five minutes into the second-half when Ben Richardson opened the scoring from a free-kick.

Shields doubled their advantage when Dan Wilson fired home from close range and substitute Dean Holmes added a third six minutes before the end. (more…)

Mason Stephenson scored a brace inside the first eight minutes of the game to help Bedlington Terriers record their first win of the season, beating Whitley Bay 2-1 at Welfare Park.

The Terriers were quick out the blocks and scored their first inside three minutes, Stephenson then bagged his second five minutes later, tapping home after lobbing the keeper. (more…)

Bedlington Terriers have found themselves injury-struck only three league games into the new season, with both goalkeepers also out injured to manager Andy Ferrell’s despair.

The former Gateshead player was left in a predicament with the squad being down to the “bare bones” and that the club are “desperate” to bring in a goalkeeper as well as other players.  (more…)

Two games in under 24 hours took it’s tole as Bedlington Terriers were defeated 2-1 by Chester-le-Street Town at Moor Park.

Bedlington Terriers managed to record their first clean-sheet of pre-season, to manager Andy Ferrell’s delight, against a strong Team Northumbria side at Coach Lane.

Bedlington Terriers were back for their first session of pre-season training on Saturday, June 27 and manager Andy Ferrell believes it went “very well” as a good number of new faces joining in.
