Magpies keeper makes Quakers loan move
Darlington have signed goalkeeper Paul Woolston on loan from Championship neighbours Newcastle United.
The Quakers need to rest first-choice keeper Peter Jameson due to a thigh injury.
Woolston made national headlines in March 2014 when, as a 15-year-old schoolboy, he kept a clean sheet on his under-21 debut against Manchester United.
Washington-based Woolston had already recorded a shut-out on his under-18s bow a few days earlier.
The former Washington United player and Biddick Academy pupil joined the Magpies in 2013 after leaving his boyhood favourites Sunderland.
He is an England international at under-17 and under-18 level.
