Micky Watson took caretaker charge of Northern League Division One club Billingham Synthonia prior to their 1-1 home draw with Durham City on Saturday.
Watson takes over from Lee Tucker, who resigned midweek due to an inconsistent start to the season.
Tucker and first-team coach Mark Scott both stepped down from their positions.
Tucker said: “My thanks go to Stuart Coleby, Graham Craggs and others whose support has always been incredible. They truly deserve success and over the four years I have been here we have not had that success.
“A new manager will have the time this season to challenge for three trophies and plenty of league games left to take the team up the table. Whoever gets the job will be fortunate to be working with a great group of people at a superb club and I genuinely wish them every success.”
