Northern League Division Two club Washington have completed the signings of midfielder Stephen Halliday, defender Joe Kendrick and striker Daniel Iredale.
Halliday was previously joint-manager at Northern League Division One side Sunderland RCA, but left earlier this month. He is 37, and will add vast experience to the midfield having played with Seaham Red Star in recent times.
31-year-old Kendrick is a natural left-back, who has enjoyed an extensive footballing career, starting as a youth player at Newcastle United. He then moved to Germany with TSV 1860 Munchen, but failed to make an apperance. This was followed by spells back in England with Darlington, Torquay United, Tamworth and Newcastle Blue Star.
He moved back to his native Ireland with Drogheda United, before an impressive move to Azerbaijan with Neftchi Baku. In 2010, he returned to Ireland with Sligo Rovers, before heading back to Drogheda United and then to Bray Wanderers. Recently, he has played for Mansfield Town, Blyth Spartans and Bedlington Terriers.
Iredale is a striker who has been with Ryton & Crawcrook Albion previously.
